Rapid Rehousing is designed to help individuals and families quickly exit homelessness, return to housing in the community, and prevent them from becoming homeless again. The Stewpot does not determine who receives housing through its Rapid Rehousing Program.

All referrals for the housing program come through the Coordinated Access System (CAS). CAS is a community-wide process developed to ensure all people experiencing a housing crisis have fair and equal access to housing resources in the community.

To receive housing, the first step is to get on the CAS list. If you are staying at a shelter, there are trained case managers to assist you with this process (a list of local shelters can be found here). If you are unsheltered or need assistance getting on this list, please speak with a City Square, Metro Relief, or other outreach team member.

No direct referrals can be accepted into the Rapid Re-Housing program.
