Founded in 1856, one day after Dallas was incorporated as a city, First Presbyterian Church has been a foundation of the downtown faith community throughout its history. FPC supports many missions within Dallas and founded The Stewpot in 1975, a community ministry of the Church which provides services to Dallas residents experiencing and at risk of homelessness.
