SOUP'S ON LUNCHEON + ART SHOW
The annual Soup's On Luncheon and Art Show fundraiser benefitting The Stewpot is planned by The Stewpot Alliance and has a history of being something special. Chefs from all over the Dallas-Fort Worth area come to donate their culinary talents crafting delicious soups for attendees while also providing recipes! Featured guest speakers include Kevin Curry of Fit Men Cook, Cynt Marshall - CEO of the Dallas Mavericks, internationally-renouned Chef José Andrés, and Judge Craig Mitchell from the Documentary, Skid Row Marathon to name just a few. Stewpot artists also make an appearance onsite at the Art Gallery preceding the event - a great opportunity to purchase world class art from people with humble origins. Stewpot Alliance memberships, combined with funds garnered from the annual Soup’s On! luncheon, have raised more than $3.5 million for The Stewpot since 2008.
Each year, a Stewpot client story is featured during the event in a captivating video that fits the theme of the event. You can hear Gershon's story from the 2023 Soup's On event above.
Limited Edition “Otter Guides” Sculptures Available
This limited-edition, 14-inch tall bronze sculpture shows two otters in a side hug and the pansy in between them is the beautiful manifestation of caring for one another. You may recognize them as the centerpieces at this year’s 2023 Soup’s On. The sculpture cost $550 and comes in a custom box - the Perfect Valentine’s Day Gift. Your sculpture purchase is also a gift to The Stewpot too. 100% of the sales is donated.
Featured Speaker:
Cynt Marshall
We were thrilled to have Dallas Mavericks CEO and author Cynt Marshall be the featured speaker of the event this year. Cynt shared how she beat personal and professional odds while also helping others see how they are uniquely equipped to thrive. At the luncheon she left us with a powerful challenge: Do whatever it takes.
Emcee:
DJ Poizon Ivy
Dallas Mavericks DJ Ivy Awino served as emcee and sound producer for the luncheon, curating a Spotify music list specifically for the luncheon.
Thank you to our sponsors!
